Privacy notice

Who we are

ISACA South Africa Chapter (Information Systems Audit and Control Association South Africa Chapter, Reg. No. 2003/004050/08) is the responsible party for the personal information collected on this page. Contact us at admin@isaca.org.za.

What we collect

Why we use it

To prepare quotations and invoices, confirm and administer your conference registration, contact you about it, and meet our tax and record-keeping obligations. We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.

Who sees it

Chapter staff and volunteers who administer the conference. The information is stored in Google services (a spreadsheet and email) used by the chapter, which may be hosted outside South Africa. We email your quotation or invoice to the address you provide.

How long we keep it

Invoices and related financial records are kept for five years, as South African tax law requires. Other registration details are deleted or archived within 12 months after the conference.

How we protect it

Information you submit travels over an encrypted connection, and access to the records is limited to the chapter team. To keep out automated spam, our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot check that runs in your browser and shares limited technical information (such as your IP address and browser details) with Cloudflare.

Your rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or object to how we use it, by emailing admin@isaca.org.za. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
